Wedding
I work as a freelance hair and make-up artist. During a normal week I mainly work on photographic shoots or sometimes for television or film productions. I also teach one day a week on a Media make-up course where I specialise in fashion, photographic and bridal work.
I did my first ever wedding make-up in 1991 whilst working as a beauty therapist and over the years I have slowly moved across to specialise purely in hair and make-up and have been working for myself for 9 years. The job is not glamorous as it involves hulking big heavy bags with my equipment in everywhere I go and making sure everyone else looks good instead of myself!
The advantage to the bride and her party is that they do not have to visit a salon on the morning of the wedding, they can simply wake in the morning (if they have slept!) refresh themselves in the comfort of their own surroundings whether it be their home, parents home, hotel etc. and prepare for the day ahead in a (hopefully) relaxed atmosphere.
If you should have specific ideas or want to discuss any aspect of hair or make-up please feel free to contact me.
